Welcome to the Lion's Gate.
When a lion roars she is heard. But when a lion is quiet she is still king of the jungle.
The soft, padded feet of the lioness still have the sprung power of the huntress. But she does not spend her days in that mode of fighting, of hunting. Only some minutes, some hours, are spent that way. But she quietly carries that power everywhere she goes.
Like that you are being asked to know your power, but reserve it. Do not lash out at every friend as if they were foe or your lunch. Just because you are so powerful, you do not need to lash out, to domineer, to prove your power over others. This is not the time for that kind of action. This is the time for measured action, knowing you are powerful, only using that huntress warrior energy when it is needed. When it is time for lunch. When it is time to defend your territory. But not when it is time to daydream under the stars, nap under the shade of a tree, cavort with your children and so on.
The lion is not known for its gentler moments, but it has many more of those than it does expressed powerful ones.
So tread softly through the Lion's Gate. Carry its powers. Feel its strength. But because, not despite of, because you have so much power, don't use it so often. And you don't have the need to use it so often, to prove it so often, when you are king. The very power of your presence, your powerful nature is enough to assert authority over your realm. You don't need to prove it through bitter disputes, squabbles, tearing down enemies and friends alike just to show what you can do.
This is not the time for that behavior. That would be considered a wounded animal--sick with rabies or something else in the mind. To act out in that way would not be considered a more powerful animal, but a weaker one for acting in such ways.
Beautiful beings who pass through the Lion's Gate. Please walk on padded feet just now. Understand how much power you carry, and decide not to use it.
Be confident enough in the powers that you carry to understand that the more power you have, the less you need to use it, the less you need to express it towards or at others. Be confident that power buys you peace. So don't use it to reckon with war, with the tools of war, with the tools of hate.
Welcome dear friends to the Lion's Gate. Lions did not get to where they are by tearing others down out of spite. You cannot be king over a population you have destroyed. It doesn't make sense in an ecological sense. A lion would never kill out of spite.
Walk on the padded feet. Learn the way of lion. She is a gentle powerful king.
